Classroom Booking Request
Who can book media for classroom viewing?
Videos may be reserved for classroom use by the following groups of users:
- U of M Faculty
- U of M Teaching Assistants
- U of M Staff
- U of M Students (Students must have written confirmation from instructor. Loan period is 24 hours. Pick up at Walter location only.)
- Users with Special Privileges Borrowing Card
When should a video be reserved?
- Twin Cities Campus - At least five business days before use date.
- Coordinate Campuses (Crookston, Duluth, Morris, Rochester) - At least five business days before use date.
How long can reserved videos be kept?
Unless special arrangements are made, the loan period for advance booking reserved videos can be from three days plus one day delivery before and after the loan. Specify the pick up and return dates on the reservation request form.
Where can reserved videos be picked up?
When you choose the the Walter Library pick up location the video will be held for you at the Walter basement circulation desk. Videos to be picked up at other locations will be held at the library main circulation service desk at the preferred pick up location (see pick up location choices on form). Videos must be returned to the selected pick up location service desk.
